Last year the Council caused more traffic problems on Chadwick Road changing the junction of Bobbers Mill Road and Alfreton Road.

The Leen Valley Labour councillors promised ‘action’. They called a meeting, which was held on 4th July. Local people explained the problems they faced and listened to ‘solutions’.

The Council suggested closing the entry to the road at one end, making it one way and looking again at the junction of Bobbers Mill road and Alfreton Road – but would not put in traffic lights.

As one local resident said “The problem is that none of the ‘solutions’ solve the problem! The councillors promised to hold another meeting.
