The Nottingham Lib Dem Focus Team have had a lot of requests to help with the problem of spam text messages. These are often unwanted text messages you receive wanting to make a

compensation claim on your behalf or telling you you’ve won a prize.

If you receive a text from one of these companies, that you didn’t ask for, forward it to 7726 (which spells SP AM on your phone keys) it’s 87726 on Vodafone or 37726 on Three.

The spam will be investigated and stopped. Two companies have recently been fined £250,000 because people reported them.
