I first asked the Council to get the hedge around the Aspley Lane allotments cut back in November 2008. Two years later and the work has finally been done! The delay has been due to sorting out who is responsible. Although it is the private allotment holders who are responsible for the work, many no longer live in the UK and others do not maintain their land. Finally the Council stepped in and did the work. At last motorists can see round the corner, and walkers and cyclists no longer have to duck!
