There is good news for Ainsley area with a £50,000 grant from BIFFA to help develop Robert Shaw Playing Field.

The Residents Association and the School have been working hard, supported by the Neighbourhood Action Officer, to improve the playing field. Last year it was opened up for public use after years of being closed. Now there is more good news and improvements will be made soon.

Focus Team member Alex Foster said “I really want to congratulate everyone involved. Having been part of this I know how much hard work has gone in. What a boost for the local area!”.
